In Belgium, three cleanrooms inaugurated for biopharmaceutical training
The Walloon trainingcenter has a 200m² permises classified as Class C and B.
Cefochim, the center for training in Wallonia in the chemical and biopharmaceutical industrywas inaugurated on Tuesday 28 May. It now has three cleanrooms Class C and B available for biopharmaceutical training.
The 600m² new complec located in Seneffe, had dedicated 200m² to cleanrooms. “The three nex cleanrooms are similar to those we find in the industry and unique in Belgium. They allow training to employees, job seekers and teachers to a career in the biopharmaceutical sector, trough real-life situations in a ‘sterile” environment” said Jean-Nicolas Pecqueur, director of Cefochim. “The biopharmaceutical industrie in Wallonia currently employs 13.800 people, compared to 7.200 in 2000”.
The project represents an investment of 1.7 million euro and was co-financed the public employment and training service in Wallonia (FOREM), the European Fon for Regional Economic Development (FEDER) and the training fund.
