PPE MASK (FFP or equivalent)

ATP TEST or SIMPLIFIED TEST

ATP test is a simplified Belgian protocol to check the effectiveness of FFP or equivalent masks

The simplified test
corresponds to the French version of the simplified protocol

This test includes:

  • A particle penetration test (filter membrane)
    According to regulation EN 149+A1 : 2009 EN 13274-7 : 2019
it is made on at least 3 masks
  • A fit test on the TSI Portacount on at least 3 different faces and on 2 masks

IMPACT OF STERILISATION/DISINFECTION CYCLES

This protocol for assessing the impact of sterilisation/disinfection cycles on single-use masks is implemented

  • With a particle penetration test (EN 149 + EN 13274-7)
  • With a fit test on the TSI Portacount.
Using at least 5 new masks, the tests after each cycle measure how the effectiveness of the masks has evolved (no degradation).

  • Differential pressure test
    According to EN 14683 + AC: 2019
  • Microbial cleanliness test
    according to EN 14683+AC et l’ISO 11737-1 : 2018
