HeX Group accompanies you on all the tests of masks,

PPE MASK (FFP or equivalent)

ATP or simplified test

The ATP test is a simplified Belgian protocol to verify the effectiveness of FFP masks or equivalent The simplified test corresponds to the French version of the simplified protocol This test includes :

  • A particle penetration test (membrane filter) According to the standards EN 149+A1: 2009 EN 13274-7: 2019 it is performed on 3 masks minimum
  • A FIT TESTING or adjustment on TSI Portacount on a minimum of 3 different faces and for 2 masks

Impact des cycles de stérilisation/ désinfection

This protocol for validating the impact of sterilization/disinfection cycles on single-use masks is performed

  • On particle penetration test (EN 149 + EN 13274-7)
  • On FIT TESTING or adjustment on TSI Portacount. From a minimum of 5 new masks, tests after each cycle allow us to measure the evolution (non-degradation) of the effectiveness of the masks.

SURGICAL MASK.

HeX performs the tests according to the NF EN 14683 + AC 2019 standard for masks Types I, II, IIR:

  • Bacterial filtration efficiency of the membrane according to EFB/BFE EN 14683+AC: 2019)
  • A differential pressure test According to EN 14683+AC: 2019
  • A microbial cleanliness test according to EN 14683+AC and ISO 11737-1: 2018 Due to the content of the test, a complete unopened box of masks is requested. *For Type IIR masks, HeX is not able to perform the splash resistance pressure test

BARRIER MASK (AFNOR, S76-001) / COMMUNITY MASK (NBN/DTD S65-001 : 2020)

Verification of the NEW condition

  • Visual inspection as new
  • Checking the flange set when new
  • Particle penetration test (optical counting on 3µm particles)
  • Breathability test (Differential pressure according to EN 14683)

HeX recommends a minimum of 3 masks Obtaining the Barrier Mask label (without mentioning maintenance / washing & drying) if all of the above checks and tests have been carried out and on a minimum of 3 masks.

Checking the condition after maintenance/washing & drying

  • Visual inspection after maintenance
  • Checking the flange clearance after maintenance
  • Particle penetration test (optical counting on 3µm particles)
  • Breathability test (Differential pressure according to EN 14683)

The maintenance of the masks can also be performed by HeX. Obtaining the Community Mask / Masque Barrière label with mention of the number of maintenance cycles, if all of the above verifications and tests have proven to be compliant and on a minimum of 3 masks and if the maintenance cycles are carried out and validated by HeX
